Kindergarten-2nd Grade
Early elementary school youth are at an important time in their faith development as they begin to ask questions and develop their own beliefs about who God is. Abiding Presence seeks to provide opportunities for early elementary school youth to explore their faith and build faith habits that will last them a lifetime.
Sunday School
The kindergarten and 1st-2nd grade classes participate in chapel from 9:45 a.m.-10:00 a.m. and then meet in small groups for a Bible Story, craft or game and snack from 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Holy’s Youth Group
Youth Group meets during Wednesday Night Gathering for a lesson, games and team building. They also have special events throughout the year.
Sonrise Cherubs Choir
Choir meets with Miss Lori during Wednesday Night Gathering. The kids occasionally sing in church and take part in the annual spring children’s musical.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School takes place the 3rd week of July each summer from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. There is music, games, crafts, snack, Bible stories and lots of fun. Kids ages 3 through 6th grade can take part in Vacation Bible School. The 2011 theme was "Pandamania: Where God is Wild about You!" Click here for more information about our past 2011 VBS program.
