mainly music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the morning, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as socialize with others. Children are introduced to music, creativity, faith and more.
Each mainly music session includes about a half hour of singing and dancing followed by a time for snack and fellowship. Snack is provided each week for the kids. Families are asked to take turns providing an adult snack for the group.
The winter/spring 2012 semester of mainly music at Abiding Presence will run every Tuesday from January 17 through June 12 except those Tuesdays when Fairfax County Schools are closed or delayed. Please use the registration form to register. The cost is $5 weekly at the door. Check or exact change in cash in preferred for weekly payments.
