Abiding Presence provides English classes for the surrounding community. ESL meets every Thursday morning beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at noon. Our program offers a special touch of community to those from our neighborhoods who are unable to speak English. This is not a class for serious grammar but one of helping our neighbors live in their surroundings and learn necessary phrases for everyday activities.
Our one or two hour sessions are filled with stories of caring, laughter, and always great snacks on Wednesdays!!
We also have been known to go on field trips, do crafts together, and teach each other special recipes. Church members are encouraged to volunteer their time to help touch another life through ESL. There is no registration fee for the class.
