YOUTH VOCAL CHOIRS
Sonrise Cherubs - Age 3 to 1st Grade – Wed. 7:00 - 7:30pm
Sonrise Singers – 2nd to 6th Grade) – Wed 7:45 - 8:30pm
REHEARSALS BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER.
The Sonrise Choirs enjoy
music and fellowship at Wednesday Night Gatherings. There is no audition,
ANYBODY can participate. Both groups are scheduled periodically to sing
for the congregation on Sunday mornings, but no one is ever forced to sing in
front of the congregation if they don’t want to. The majority of music is
learned through the help of CDs. There are some pieces of music that need
piano accompaniment. If anyone would be interested, teenager or adult, to
accompany the choir periodically, please let me know. This is a
fun, relaxed program—a time for children to “sing praises to the Lord!”

Our youth participate in special musical programs appropriate to the season.
Christ's Chimers
REHEARSALS BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER.
4th to 6th Grade (will consider 3rd Graders on an individual basis) – Wed. 7:00 – 7:40pm. This group learns to play Choir Chimes and plays for Church Services. More importantly, the Chimers learn to appreciate music and the basics of music theory.
