Worship at the Lutheran Church of the Abiding Presence
Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Ps. 100:2
Worship is central at Abiding Presence. Everything that we do as a faith community and
as Christians in the world flows out of our weekly worship services.
We celebrate Holy Communion at all of our worship services. We believe that all are welcome to receive
Holy Communion at the Lord’s Table.

Worship Styles
Our Saturday evening Holden Evening Prayer with Holy Communion
Service is a casual service that is approximately 45 minutes. The piano is used as the primary
instrument. There is special music from
one of our choirs or musicians once a month at this service.
Our Sunday morning Praise Service with Holy Communion is a causal
service that is approximately 60 minutes.
Our Praise Band provides the musical leadership. Words to songs and prayers are projected on a
screen for the congregation to follow.
While children are welcome at all of our services, this is the one at
which they can wiggle around the most freely.
Children in Worship
We love having children in worship!
At the time of Holy Communion, children who do not yet receive
Holy Communion are invited to come forward with their parents for a blessing
from Pastor Keseley.
During the Praise Service at 8:30am, children can come forward to
the band area before the closing song to get a shaker. We encourage children to then help the band
lead the closing song.
