Our Synod offers a 4th through 6th, Junior High and a Senior High retreat every year. Our youth are active in these yearly get togethers with other youth from our Synod. Chrysalis, the High School retreat (group pictures below) takes place in December and Shekinah, the Junior High retreat takes place in March. Shema for the elementary ages takes place in April.
Many of our youth that have attended stay involved with the Synod programs.
There is also an opportunity for our youth to participate each summer in a synod sponsored work camp, Chi Rho. Our confirmation youth attend confirmation camp every summer with other youth from the Metro DC Synod at Mar Lu Ridge in MD.
Mar Lu Ridge and Caroline Furnace are Lutheran camps that provide opportunities for week long experiences during the summer. Forms are available at the church.
