Here’s a picture of the Abiding Presence group that walked in the DC pride parade in 2024. We missed 2025 because it overlapped the synod assembly. We’re excited to be back walking in 2026 and are hoping for an even larger turnout!

Why Celebrating Pride Month Matters
In a world where many LGBTQIA+ people hear words of hate and damnation from Christians, it is especially important for inclusive churches like ours and followers of Jesus like us to speak up. We want to make sure the loudest religious voices our LGBTQIA+ siblings are hearing are the one that say, “God Loves You!”
